Current Position: Infrastructure Project Manager (Fujitsu, DVLA Swansea)
I am currently working as an Infrastructure Project Manager with Fujitsu supporting the DVLA in Swansea where I have been working on the account for over 8 years. My current project consists of the complete migration of the current DVLA systems from a Windows 2000\Novel environment to a Windows Vista & Active Directory environment incorporating over 7000 users, with a value in excess of £6m.
Along with this Project I have also just completed a Network Tech Refresh Project using CISCO and Nortel hardware in all of the 40 DVLA Local Offices around the UK. This also includes the addition of WAN optimisation Technology to allow the DVLA to utilise its business connectivity to and from their remote sites.
