Advance Career Ltd, on behalf of our client a leading global company that specializes in business intelligence solutions, is seeking to recruit an experienced individual to join their team in Larnaca;
The successful candidate will be technologically sophisticated with commitment to capitalizing on current and emerging technologies to design robust solutions.
In-depth experience in all aspects of project management, from requirements gathering, solution development, problem solving, decision making, testing, and deployment. Exceptional leadership skills and a developed ability to motivate diverse teams at multiple local and off-shore locations and create team unity and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Software Architecture & Design as well as familiarity with RF and hardware design
Project Management / Execution /Planning & Implementation
Roadmap management from definition through product release to market
Resource Management
Agile and Test Driven Development
Leadership / Team Building in a multinational offshore team experience
Familiarity with project life cycle, identifying and resolving issues, mitigating risks and aligning resources to assure timely release of products.
Develop technical design for projects based on business requirements.
Define project plan for deployment, implementation and testing.
Develop delivery plans and schedules in coordination with other projects in development.
Schedule activities to ensure optimal use of time and resources.
Monitor performance of delivery in terms of adherence to schedules and specifications.
Help define tools, procedures, processes and best practices to be used in the areas of responsibility.
Provide high quality advice to higher management on strategies for the technical design and implementation and their improvement.
Prepare and track project development schedules as required, experience in the process of business analysis capture through wire-framing is desired.

| Qualifications required: |
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in computer science, Electronics, information systems essential
5+ years of experience as a Director of Engineering or equivalent
Experience in multi-discipline project implementation, including software, hardware, web applications and developing requirements documents.
Experience with multiple Project Management methodologies; use of leading industry standard project tracking tools is required,
Experience in TCP/IP based networks. WiFi, RFID a plus.
PMP Certification a plus
Strong familiarity with interactive web applications based on IBM websphere platform.
