Our Client, one of the world’s largest providers of healthcare and longevity products is seeking a Treasury Officer for their Nicosia office.
Responsibilities:
~ Responsible for the review of the bank accounts of the Companies within the Group and the maintenance of the balances at the required levels
~ Preparation of the bank reconciliations of all the accounts which are administered by Cyprus
~ Ensuring that banking is carried out efficiently and be responsible for the maintenance of records for all transactions which need to be updated on a daily basis
~ Issuing of cheques to local and foreign suppliers and transfer of funds and BACs transfers for payment of goods and or services to any of the Companies of the Group or between Companies of the Group
~ Maintaining credit policies and procedures and credit terms for all suppliers
Running of the Corporate Cards program
~ Providing support and consultation for payments under contractual obligations and informing the Accounting, the Budgeting Departments and the Treasury Operations Manager/Tax Supervisor of the obligations and the deadlines
~ Control and uploading of data into system of Central Bank in Cyprus
~ Analysis of the payment trends against Contractual Terms and Conditions
~ Establishing and maintaining regular contact with each Company’s bank via telephone, email and fax to ensure that the required Treasury Operations are executed as planned
~ Establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers or colleagues overseas in relation to payments and receipts
~ Processing the opening and/or closing of all bank accounts throughout the Group
~ Preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts for the companies in the Group ensuring adherence to the budgets
Requirements:
~ University Degree in Economics, Finance or any other related subject
~ At least 2 years of work experience with similar responsibilities with a financial background preferably at a banking institution
~ Strong administration skills
~ Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
~ Proficient in MS Office
~ Fluency in Russian and English is essential; Greek will be considered an advantage
