Job description

Our client in Limassol, a CySEC regulated Forex Company, is looking for a Risk Officer. The company is currently expanding and they are looking for quality. They are investing in a very good company culture and they work on a hybrid model, i.e. work from home 2-3 days per week depending on Company needs. They are not considering Dealers for this role.

Job Duties

• Prepare regulatory reports and financial returns including COREP, ICAAP, Pillar III, Annual Risk Management Report, Quarterly and Annual statistics for CySEC and CBC.
• Review new regulatory requirements and conduct impact analysis.
• Assist in the design and implementation of Risk Management policies and procedures.
• Review business units and assess business practices to identify existing and emerging risks to ensure that all risks are accurately reflected in the risk register.
• Liaise and collaborate with other business functions for risk inputs.
• Collect, analyse, interpret and present risk data
• Investigate Risk Incidents and ensure that root cause analysis has been carried out and follow up the agreed actions.
• Assist in risk projects.

Job Requirements

• A University graduate of Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business or any other relevant field;
• 2 - 3 years of experience in an investment firm or a consulting firm with solid exposure in risk management (credit risk, market risk, operational risk, liquidity risk) and capital adequacy.
• Advanced CySEC certification will be considered an advantage.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent communication & organizational skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Fluent in English (Verbal & Written).
• The working hours are 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch break)

The salary will be based on skills and experience + 13th salary + medical + discretionary bonus
