Job description

Our client is a professional and well-established Forex Trading Company and they are looking to hire a motivated individual in the role of Product Manager for their office in Nicosia. In this role you will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills.

The Project Manager will manage global projects of varying size through their end-to-end project lifecycle. They will work with internal teams to ensure resources are managed, requirements are translated into business requirements, and solutions are agreed and delivered to plan, on time, and to a high standard. They will be accountable for projects' key performance indicators and overall success.

The Project Manager will be responsible for defining the project plan baseline and ongoing monitoring and control during project execution, leveraging industry best practices and project management methodologies to ensure effective governance throughout.


Job Duties

  • Support Managers in the management of the concept, design, detailed design and execution of projects
  • Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
  • Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation - both internal and third party.
  • Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.
  • Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
  • Managing delivery of the project according to this plan.
  • Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
  • Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.
  • Managing the day to day running of the Creative Studio; managing all studio operations, making full use of project management and collaboration tools.
  • Efficiently managing studio time and the Design team.
  • Clearly communicating the client and project needs to the design team to ensure that the work meets the agreed brief.
  • Assessing, interrogating and clarifying client briefs
  • Proofing and reviewing and checking documents before they are shared with the team /client.
  • Assisting on creative production when needed and meeting with team members for feedback.
  • Creating and implementing deadlines, project goals, expectations and workflows, to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery from the Studio
  • Setting up systems and processes so that the studio are aware of how the creative studio operates.
  • Manages the multi-disciplinary studio team which may comprise of a range of designers, developers, digital skills and freelancers; setting daily priorities.
  • Focused on the personal and professional development of their team. Whilst Studio Managers will sometimes hire freelancers for specialist jobs they will also upskill their team so that the expertise (and profit) can stay in house.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years' experience in similar position

  • Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software development
  • Business & commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills are also essential
  • Analytical skills are necessary in order to correctly identify risks and solve any problems which may arise throughout the project.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • A good communicator with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills
  • Be a good team player and an effective leader who is able to motivate their project team

  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.

The working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm with 1 hour lunch break
