Elias Neocleous & Co LLC is currently looking for a Financial Controller to join their tem. 

Job Duties

Main Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and Finance Director, in the strategic management and further development of the Finance department and will have the following main responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Firm’s financial policy and budget strategy by ensuring that accurate, complete and timely financial information of the Firm’s financial performance is prepared and submitted
  • Contribute significantly to revising the Receivables and Work In Progress (WIP) strategies in order to enhance productivity and support company departments in achieving even better financial results
  • Responsible for all Elias Neocleous international companies and contributing in the overall restructuring and progress of the companies
  • Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
  • Responsible for the audit and preparation of the statutory financial statements as well as VAT submissions review and tax submissions on a timely manner
  • Assist in analyzing and presenting financial reports and financial statements
  • Revisit the company’s expenses and suggest and implement cost management strategies
  • Lead and manage initiatives to achieve automation, efficiency and digital transformation
  • Forecast financial trends based on data analysis mplement internal audit, overviews systems’ functionality and procedures, and ensure systems’ continuous upgrade
  • Contribute to the development of effective operational planning and management processes, ensuring the delivery of and commitment to operational priorities and strategies and gaining support for these both internally and externally
  • Prepare and manage business plans for the firm on a regular basis

Job Requirements

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with a relevant post graduate qualification
  • More than 3 years of experience at a senior finance level with at least 1 year as a leader of a team
  • Strong up to date knowledge of Accounting & Taxation
  • Very strong MS Office skills together with IT/MIS systems management experience
  • Knowledge and prior experience of SAP Business One will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to influence decision making process through clear financial presentations
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced business environment
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail, flexibility to change and efficiency
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, professional discipline and willingness to take initiative and assume responsibility
