Senior Web Designer

Job description

Our client, an International eCommerce company, with offices in Limassol, are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Designer to deliver great compelling customer experiences.

You will contribute significantly to new eshop sites building, play a key role in shaping platforms aesthetics and have meaningful impact on new eshop’s launch.

Job Duties

•     Responsible for delivering creative visual assets of the sites and working on creative campaigns and multi-channel communication material
•     Work closely with other relevant members including Project Managers, Product Owners and Web Developers, to ensure designs and functionality are implemented accordingly and help guide projects to completion
•     Translate requirements into design ideas/mock-ups and present them
•     Develop designs for the company’s websites, including sites updates, additional pages, new sections, icon sets
•     Ensure finalized designs are visually engaging, are on-brand and meet the designated media type requirements
•     Develop design standards, best practices, and guidelines
•     Translate concepts into user flows, journeys, wireframes that lead to remarkable user experiences
•     Apply user-centric methodologies and common practices to design websites, UIs, and online content

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

•     Bachelor or Master’s degree in design, UI/UX design or equivalent degree
•     5+ years of experience working in graphic/website design
•     Self-starter who plans and executes work with minimal support
•     In depth knowledge of UI and UX design including wireframing.
•     Good understanding of front end development – HTML/CSS/js
•     Experience with planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing
•     Ability to optimize design based on the value to the site
•     Strong attention to detail and consistent accuracy
•     Deep understanding of UX’s role in the site’s development process
•     Strong aesthetics and graphic design skills
•     Experience in best practices for information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
•     Familiarity with design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator
•     Experience with ecommerce sites is highly appreciated
•     Full understanding of digital selling platforms and trends
•     Passionate about simplification of information architecture
•     Proven leadership skills
•     Fluency in spoken and written English
