Live Stream Media Officer

Job description

The role:

We are looking for a skilled individual who will assist in LiveStream production. The role includes; streaming using dedicated software/hardware; coordinating show cast switches; and ensuring stream quality, settings and visuals are properly set up.

Job Duties

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Moderate multiple daily live streams simultaneously on the XM website and internal projects
• Troubleshoot and efficiently manage any unexpected technical and production issues
• Set up and operate sound and light equipment
• Create and plan schedules for live streaming events
• Respond to and manage last minute changes
• Maintain high-quality live streaming standards throughout broadcasts
• Provide support to international teams

Job Requirements

Main requirements:

• Degree in Media Communications, Animation, Illustration, or any other relevant field is considered an advantage
• Previous experienced is considered a plus
• Basic knowledge of OBS Studio
• Any live streaming experience on YouTube, Twitch etc
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite for creating basic content is considered a plus
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Strong computer literacy
