Technical Manager (VAC-A394)

Job description

An International Ship Registry is seeking to recruit a Technical Manager to support its Technical Department.

Job Duties

• The successful applicant will be working at the Registry’s International Office in Limassol and will mainly be responsible for:
• Continuous monitor and evaluation of ships under the registry
• Establish and follow up Flag State Inspection scheme
• Review, evaluate and follow up port state control inspections in various MOUs
• Technical, Environmental, Safety and Security issues relating to ships
• Report to the top management 

Job Requirements

• University degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering or any other related field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the technical department of a ship registry or a shipping company
• Proficiency in English language
• Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure
• Organizational skills
• Planning skills and ability to prioritize to adhere to deadlines
• Computer literate
