Job description

P&P Financial Services Ltd, is looking to recruit an experienced accountant / bookkeeper for their office in Larnaca.

Job Duties

  • Bookkeeping of client’s transactions.
  • Maintaining proper books and records for clients.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns, VIES and Intrastat reports and other VAT issues.
  • Providing financial information and other reports to the clients.
  • Reporting results of work performed to Director / Manager.
  • Preparation of Reconciliations of banks, receivables and payables.
  • Issuing and settlement of invoices.
  • Handling correspondence with clients on issues related to accounting and administration.
  • Liaising with clients or external parties, in order to perform daily accounting work.
  • Supporting administrative department on various issues.
  • Preparation of payroll and social contributions payments / compliance.
  • Preparation of personal tax returns (income / defence tax).
  • Communication with auditors and clients on issues related to audit.
  • Other – to be considered advantageous

Job Requirements

  • At least 5-6 years of demonstrated work experience in an Accounting / Bookkeeping role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek / English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
  • Highly ethical, trustworthy, reliable and discreet individual.
  • Organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Team-working skills.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Holder of LCCI Accounting.
  • Other – to be considered advantageous
