Client Accountant (VAC-A541)

Job description

Our client, a very well established International Corporate Services, Tax Consultancy & Trust Firm, is looking for someone to fill the position of Client Accountant for their offices in Limassol. 

Job Duties

• The candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will handle the preparation of all the accounting records, generation of trial balance and will liaise with auditors.
• He/she will do all the processing of payroll, social insurance and GESY
• Preparation of Accounting file, for the auditors, together with supporting documentation
• Compiling management accounts for clients on quarterly and annual basis (for Cyprus and other jurisdictions)
• Preparation of the quarterly VAT reports, submission of the reports to VAT authority system, and reconciliation to accounting records
• Correspondence with clients for issues related to the maintenance of the accounting records
• Preparation and collection of all the relevant information from the client and relevant departments for the registration with the social insurance department
• Preparation and submission on a monthly basis of the PAYE payments to Tax authority.
• Monitoring of completed assignments and issue of invoices.
• Collection of invoices.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should have 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
• LCCI/ACCA (part/full) qualifications will be considered as an advantage
• Fluency in English and Greek is a must
• Russian would be considered an advantage
• Working Hours:
• Monday – Thursday 8am / 9am – 5:30pm /6:30pm (1.5 hours lunch break); Fridays 8am – 2pm

Job Benefits

• The company is offering a salary of 1800 – 2000 (x13) euros gross / month depending on experience, skills and qualifications
