Job description

Greek language teacher/ teach Greek as a second language for Russian speaking students (primary & secondary private school)

Job Duties

• Planning and preparing course according to the curriculum
• Planning and preparing weekly lessons
• Assessing students and providing feedback
• Recording pupils’ development and progress
• Implement positive methods of teaching and encourage students’ learning
• Be able to lead the classroom effectively
• Participate in school meetings and events
• Be actively involved in the school life
• Collaborate with other colleagues and work under the guidance of the Headteacher and School Director as well as independently
• Contribute to a positive school environment
• Be a good role model for the students

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a degree in Greek language or equivalent degree in teaching Greek as a foreign language
• Be able to work in a diverse environment with Russian-speaking students
• Have excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage
