MRICS Commercial Asset Manager - Client Side - Real Estate

This position is for relocation to the U.K - Relocation package is offered

Working in association with a privately-owned property Investment Company owning a unique portfolio of freehold office, residential, hotel, retail and leisure properties based in Canary Wharf, we are seeking a pro-active experienced Commercial Asset Manager to join our team.

The role will play a pivotal part in the company's long-term strategy providing the candidate with exposure to a variety of duties and both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Duties

Role:
  • Negotiate all commercial rent reviews, lease renewals, licenses, assignments and surrenders.
  • Liaise with agents regarding marketing and new commercial lettings.
  • Deal with all property sales and acquisitions.
  • Overseeing and negotiating dilapidations and deposit returns.
  • Identify opportunities within the existing portfolio.
  • Dealing with all commercial tenant queries including alterations.
  • Undertaking property and site inspections.
  • Review legal documentation, to advise and communicate clear instructions
  • Ensure the property management database is kept up to date.
  • Answer general queries raised by internal and external stakeholders
  • Instructing maintenance and refurbishment works, and surveys.
  • Dealing with external planning consultants.
  • Assisting and supporting the Senior Asset Manager and the other members of the Asset Management Team with all property related matters

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), or training towards.
  • 2-3 Years relevant asset management experience
  • Superb evaluation, analysis and written skills
  • Strong communicator and ability to build and maintain quality relationships at the highest level
  • Attention to detail, open to change, creative and flexible
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-faced environment
  • Ability to manage risks by mitigating and/or highlighting risks and identifying and proposing solutions to risks
  • Computer literacy sufficient (MS office)
