Job description

Our client, a Shipping Services Company in Limassol, is looking for a Service Coordinator. This is a hybrid role: one or two days per week in the office. In this role, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager.

Job Duties

  • Dealing with customer requests by phone or e-mail
  • Processing of purchase orders
  • Entering and monitoring service requests into the SF system, managing the case system
  • Ordering on-board service with own engineers and service partners in EMEA when required
  • Provide quotation for service
  • Travel arrangements for engineers
  • Oversee installation/service review process and manage follow-up process for unsuccessful jobs
  • Cost analysis of service jobs
  • Manage training needs for EMEA service partners
  • Review and optimize the service processes to ensure service partners work efficiently and error-free.
  • Reporting to management
  • Meeting the personal KPI’s (see document from latest annual review meeting)
  • Acting in accordance with the organization’s strategy and policies
  • Being a stimulating, cooperative and supportive team member and pro-actively contributing to the completion of the team’s workload
  • Contributing to the achievement of revenue and customer engagement through effective service process management and increasing customer retention

Job Requirements

  • Product knowledge especially for nautical data and navigation system
  • Good knowledge, network and working experience of the commercial marine industry
  • Being familiar with all job-related processes as described in the Quality Management handbook.
  • Reporting quality issues according to existing procedures to the Quality Management department.
  • Experience in a similar role but a different industry is a plus, ideally within the Maritime industry
  • Excellent English both spoken and written
  • Personal initiative and responsibility.
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-reliant
  • Being stress tolerant, performing steadily and effectively under time pressure. Reacting calmly toward customers under all circumstances
  • Focused on continuously improving and holding self and others accountable
  • Eu-citizenship.

Working hours:

  • The working hours are flexible (meaning starting within 7-10 and then working the hours) but as this is support for our traveling engineers, calls outside office hours can be expected. This is a hybrid role: one or two days per week in the office.

Job Benefits

  • The company is offering a salary of 1,500 – 2,500 Euros gross based on skills and experience
