Accountant - Senior/Supervisor, Indirect Tax (VAC-A663)

Job description

Our client is one of the Top 4 Accounting and Auditing firms, currently looking to recruit an experienced Accountant Senior/Supervisor, for the Indirect Tax Department - Limassol.

The successful candidate will be assigned to work on various engagements which will cover a variety of indirect tax issues.

Job Duties

• VAT Compliance
• Limited VAT review of Financial Statements
• VAT Audits
• Consulting work
• Understanding and analyzing technical issues
• Undertaking effective research towards providing effective solutions
• Assisting with the preparation of reports that will be delivered to clients
• Research and development

Job Requirements

• Pursuing a Professional Qualification (ACA,ACCA,ADIT) or Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
• University degree with grade 2:1 or equivalent in any discipline
• At least 2 or 3 years of working experience in a relevant TAX/VAT position
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• IT literacy with sound knowledge of Excel/Word
