Compliance Officer (VAC-A722)

Our client is a CySEC licensed forex broker looking to hire a Compliance Officer with experience and knowledge of working in the Forex Industry.

A current available role is for a Compliance Officer who will report directly to the Director of Compliance. 

Job Duties

• To assist with the development and implementation of an effective legal compliance program
• To assist with the creation of the Company’s internal controls and monitor adherence to them
• Assisting with the preparations of policies and procedures of company’s policies
• Proactively Audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
• Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk
• Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed
• Set plans to manage compliance violations
• Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
• Address employee concerns or questions on Legal compliance
• Keep up to date the internal standards and business goals
• Assist the Director of Compliance with the reporting obligations requirements
• Managing the legal framework upon which the company will operate, ensuring compliance with the relevant law
• Review and approve website and other marketing content
• Maintain the accuracy of compliance records and review periodic reports
• Overseeing compliance procedures and advise on risk management
• Performing day to day reviews and inspections to evaluate compliance of the company with its legal and regulatory obligations
• Reviewing the effectiveness of internal policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Law/Finance/Economics/ Business or related field
• At least 2 years previous experience in the Forex industry working in compliance
• Holder of CySEC Advance certificate
• Proficiency in English Language
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in teams
• Good time management skills
• Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Computer literate; MS Office

Job Benefits

Salary of up to 2500-3500 Euros gross per month based on experience

Working hours:

Working days will be from Monday - Friday - 8 hours per day;
