Senior Legal Consultant (VAC-A725)

Job description

Our client is a dynamic independent provider of trust and corporate services established in Cyprus, offering inter alia, tax advisory, fund administration, investment services, accounting and book-keeping, legal services and insolvency services in a number of key jurisdictions.  The Group's business is focused on professionalism, attention to detail, and specialization on selected services with a strong partner network worldwide. Currently they are looking to recruit a Senior Legal Consultant for their established offices in Limassol.

Job Duties

• Providing practical, business-oriented legal advice, counsel and recommendations on any corporate and/or commercial matter
• Drafting and reviewing various types of agreements, transactions and other legal documents
• Handling, monitoring and dealing with all aspects of corporate transactions
• Performing legal activities related to acquisitions and investments, including leading due diligence reviews and negotiations of M&A transactions
• Advising and issuing opinions on corporate and commercial law as well as related matters
• Meeting with clients and provision of best solutions for their businesses
• Ensuring compliance with AML regulations

Job Requirements

• Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
• At least four years previous in-house or law firm experience
• Fluent business level Greek and English, both written and oral. Additional language will be considered as an advantage
• Ability to work autonomously and without supervision
• Able to work under pressure with client deadlines
• Positive attitude and ability to develop strong client relationships
• Dynamic, self-motivated and career driven
• Teamwork spirit and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Time management and organisation skills
