POSITION SUMMARY:

The Host, Events is responsible for facilitating City of Dreams Mediterranean events, activities and creating a pleasant atmosphere and memorable guest experience.

Job Duties

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interacts with guests, make guests and attendees feel welcome and as comfortable as possible
  • Assists event organizers for both Internal and external events for special needs and requirements
  • Ensures that the safety of guests and employees is the highest priority
  • Plans, setup and facilitates events, activities and special functions as required by management
  • Conducts pre-opening inspections of assigned location and prepares for opening by sweeping queue lines, platforms, entrance and exit locations
  • Controls activities while in progress and constantly monitors the events while in operation, being prepared assist guests at any times
  • Screens all guests to ensure they meet the physical requirements of the attraction, event or activity, in accordance with the SOPs
  • Administers and coordinates emergency first aid as necessary
  • Ensures adequate through-put of the attraction is met by working efficiently and allowing the appropriate number of guests onto the attraction as determined by the Company Standards
  • Monitors guests enjoying the attraction and be prepared to assist scared guests safely
  • Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming
  • Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required
  • Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors due to business requirements

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • One year or above relevant experience in customer services field

Education

  • Secondary-level education

Skills / Competencies

  • Computer literate
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional written communication skills
  • Excellent command of English - Greek, Russian/ Arabic/ Hebrew/ Chinese highly regarded
