Bottles & Bottles Ltd. is looking for a result-driven Retail Shop Sales Associate, to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales, for a vacancy at our wine & spirit retail shop at the Minthis resort in Tsada, Pafos. The opening is for a full-time position on a 6-day working week. The shop will operate 6 days a week Wed-Mon (Tuesday closed) from 12am to 8pm.

Looking for person allowed to work in Cyprus and from Pafos.

Job Duties

Retail Shop Sales Associate responsibilities are:

• Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
• Serves customers by helping them select products.
• Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Responds to customers’ questions.
• Provides outstanding customer service.
• Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
• Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customer’s needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Work as part of a closely knit team to ensure the company objectives
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases, returns and other transactions
• Cross-sell products
• Handle returns of merchandise
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
• Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

Job Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative or similar role
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Presentable appearance at all times, with a professional appearance
• Proficient in verbal and written English language. Greek and/or Russian will be considered an advantage
• Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
• Basic Math skills
• Basic knowledge of wines & spirits (any qualifications/education on wines will be considered an advantage)
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays
