Legal Advisor (Forex Exposure a MUST) (VAC-A1403)

Our client, a well-established CySEC Certified Financial Investment Firm, is looking to hire an Legal Advisor (Forex Exposure a MUST)

Job Duties

• Draft or improve agreements, contracts and other legal documents and ensure they are aligned with the relevant legislation
• Provide expert and professional legal advice, guidance and support to ensure that the legal and reputational risk faced are identified, reported and mitigated
• Consulting and handling all corporate legal processes
• Conduct legal research on various matters and proactively identify legal risks
• Advise the Company on potential legal risks
• Review any new applicable laws and regulations, and advise how these are affecting the company’s operations
• Implementation of the Internal Regulations and procedures of the Company
• Advise on employment labour law and other legal matters, involving head office as well as global offices
• Providing guidance and training to staff and management on legal and other related matters
• Assisting with general and varied queries affecting the business
• Conduct periodic audits on matters relating to regulatory and employment frameworks
• Carries out any further duties assigned by their line manager

Job Requirements

• University Degree in Law
• Background in Corporate/Regulatory law and/or Litigation
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar position is a must
• Relevant CySEC certificates will be considered an advantage
• Financial services regulatory experience is an advantage
• Experience reading and interpreting regulations, law and statutes
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Problem solving skills, flexibility and adaptability
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Full proficiency in the English and Greek languages
• Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information
• Excellent negotiation skills
