Happy Valley Veterinary Clinic & Pet Hotel is offering a permanent position of a veterinary nurse.

Location:

Konstantinou Kavafi 9, Erimi 4630, Limassol. We provide parking for staff in the premises

Job Duties

Responsibilities

In the beginning you will be trained during a trial period

• Build an excellent relationship with pets. Confident and comfortable manner around pets and their owners

• Taking care of in-patients and out-patients

• For in-patients – cleaning hospitalization, feeding, exercising, socializing

• Cleaning premises of clinic

• Completing records and preparing reports

• Helping vets with all procedures including surgeries, taking blood, laboratory tests, x rays etc.

• Maintain stock

Job Requirements

Languages:

• Fluency in English is necessary - the interview is in English

• Good Greek

• Fluency in Russian is an advantage

Education and experience:

Veterinary nurse degree or course

veterinary nurse work is an advantage

Our team provides training during the trial period.

Small animal handling skills:

• Understanding of small animals body language

• How to approach a pet safely

• Pet restraining techniques for examinations or treatment

• Lift the pet on and off the table safely

• Hold the pet safely for a vet examination or treatment

• Walk small to large pets safely

• Enter and exit the pet’s room safely

• Take the pet out of the crate safely or to put the pet in the crate safely

• Confident manner around pets

Working schedule:

• Full time job, Permanent job

• 6 Days including Saturday or Sunday (in reverse)
