Our client, based in Nicosia is an independent, international tax advisory and corporate services firm established in 2010

We are recruiting on their behalf for a skilled and proactive Financial Controller to become a vital part of the growing team

Job Duties

• Oversea one accounting assistant who works under you in the internal accounts departments.
• Preparation of the Company’s accounting records.
• Preparation of management accounts and reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Handling of all tax and VAT statutory filings.
• Monitoring/improving internal controls and processes.
• Preparation and monitoring of annual budget and financial forecasts in a consolidated form.
• Maintain and monitor cash flow and cost management procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Payroll processing.
• Compliance with statutory submissions and returns.
• Liaising with third parties, external auditors, vendors, clients, bankers.
• Assisting Managing Director with ad hoc projects.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, AIA).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role;
• Knowledge of Cyprus tax and VAT;
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Computer literacy, particularly with Caseware, Microsoft Word, and Excel;
• Fluency in Greek & English;
• Excellent communication skills and to be able to be part of a team;
• Can work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Annual Gross salary between €35,000 – 40,000 based on previous skills and experience.
• Annual performance related bonus
• Early finish on Friday afternoons
