Job description

This role is to support the admissions department of a growing English Language school based in Ireland with year-round adult centres in Athlone and Dublin and young learners centres in Athlone, Dublin, Galway, Sligo and London for international students. You will need to familiarise yourself with the different programmes in this area including start dates, entry requirements and schedules available.

Service Contract Fee: €950 - €1050 per month (depending on expereince)

Contract: Full-time Service Contract

Works to: Acting Admissions Manager

Location: Remote (Based in Europe)

Job Duties

Non-Exhaustive List of Duties

Support Admissions Team in dealing with new Applications as follows:

- Checking new applications by email and through booking platform for completeness and request missing information;

- Entering new bookings onto our school management platform;

- Making sure applications are complete and all required documents have been received, such as copy of passports, student level information, assessment tasks and flight details;

- Creating Invoices via the school management platform;

- Checking Invoices with the business developer if there are any doubts.

Support Admissions Team in dealing with Accommodation Requests as follows:

- Checking availability of accommodation for pre-booking on the capacity tracker before confirming;

- Monitor changes or cancellations to keep the accommodation team updated of all requests.

Support Admissions Team in Issuing Documentation as follows:

- Checking agent payment confirmations in email and liaising with Accounts department to make sure all invoices are paid on a timely manner;

- Issuing acceptance letters for bookings with payment confirmed;

- Arranging insurance for the confirmed students and issuing related documentation;

- Issuing accommodation and transfer letters if services were booked with us.

Other Admissions Duties:

Monitoring admissions communications during work hours and passing on any that don’t relate to these tasks to the appropriate person;

Assisting the other FL departments depending on demand.

Job Requirements

Required skills and qualifications

● Proficiency in English essential with additional Language skills in Spanish or Italian desirable

● Understanding of basic principles of invoicing and commission

● Superb time management and detail orientation

● Proficiency with Google Drive and associated apps

● Ability to keep company and partner confidences

● Experience in Academic Administration an advantage

Job Benefits

Monthly fee paid by bank transfer on receipt of invoice includes allowance for:

Being closed on up to 10 local public holidays (Excluding those covered under holidays below) with benefit for day falling on a weeked being taken on another day.

Plus another 10 days holiday closure including those working days between the 23rd of December and the 1st of January.
