Senior Network Engineer

Job Duties

What will your job look like?

• Providing top-tier level support on the core backbone

• Maintaining and operating the Ethernet, IP networks to an operationally viable state

• Designing core and customer’s network solutions

• Provide stand-by support for critical network issues

• Travels to other locations of the Company or other offices, inland or abroad, as required by the above assignments

Job Requirements

All you need is…

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

• Minimum experience of 2 years in Networking within a Telecom/ISP

• Expert level knowledge of Cisco IOS or Juniper JUNOS

• CCNP/JNCP or a similar certificate is preferred

• Excellent knowledge of OSPF, BGP routing protocols

• Solid understanding of broadband technologies (PPPoE, L2TP)

• Experience & excellent understanding of MPLS in operator environment

• Experience with VPN (GRE/IPSEC)

• Excellent knowledge of Quality of Services (QoS)

• Experience in Unix based systems (especially Linux)

• Knowledge of DWDM, OTN, SDH technologies is a plus

• Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive

• Capable of working under pressure, attention to detail / accuracy

• Intermediate in English
