The Client

A well established local Non-Profit Organisation with over 80 full-time employees.

Job Duties

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated senior HR professional to develop and take the helm of the Organisation’s whole HR function. The successful candidate will report to the Organisation’s CEO.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Strategic HR Management:
  • Set HR strategy in co-operation with Senior Management
  • Prepare and monitor the HR budget in cooperation with Departmental Heads
  • Develop, communicate, and implement HR policies and procedures

Recruitment and Selection:

  • Formulate and implement full-cycle Recruitment and Selection policies as well as procedures

Learning and Development:

  • Identify, prioritise and determine training needs in collaboration with Departmental Heads
  • Collaborate with R&D to implement ongoing training programs across all departments for all employees

Performance Management:

  • Organise and monitor the Organisation’s performance appraisal system in collaboration with Department Heads
  • Design, implement and monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the staff against the strategic business objectives in collaboration with Department Heads

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Develop the Remuneration policy and conduct relevant reviews and updates considering the Organisation’s strategy and employment market conditions
  • Manage the incentive and reward schemes

Change Management:

  • Ensure that organisation development, design, due process, employee voice, and clear communications are appropriately addressed as part of the change process
  • Act as an agent of change from initial planning through to execution
  • Establish a clear framework for accepting, evaluating, and integrating employee feedback

Organisational Culture:

  • Promote a culture of open communication within the Organisation
  • Endorse an organisational culture that supports diversity, flexibility, and change

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • Member of an accredited Human Resources association or body will be considered an advantage
  • Around 7-10 years of solid experience in the HR field with similar and broad responsibilities
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, with an ability to take initiative and drive change
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office and HRMS systems
  • Very good knowledge of Greek and English.
