Media Buyer (VAC-A21340M)

Job description

Our client is a Forex Company in Limassol looking for a Media Buyer to negotiate and buy advertising inventory for the company. You will ensure that ads reach target audiences through high-quality channels at the lowest possible prices. Your goal will be to optimize ad exposure and outdo competition while staying within budgets. In this role, you should be an effective negotiator, critical thinker and able to establish trust and build rapport with clients and media professionals. Job Duties

• Developing effective media buying strategies
• Negotiating ad space and time slots with various media outlets
• Participating in media planning to identify target audiences and craft effective campaigns
• Helping identify target audiences and plan media campaigns
• Comparing and negotiating rates, ad space and airtime
• Optimizing plans and budgets according to the best media mix
• Preparing schedules and adjust when needed
• Experimenting with new platforms and channels
• Ensuring ads are creative and displayed appropriately
• Monitoring costs and return on investment (ROI;)
• Reporting to clients and build long-term relationships; and
• Any other duties that are relevant to the role.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
• Familiarity with media-buying, planning and research
• Working knowledge of media analytics software (e.g. comScore)
• Interest in following advertising and media trends
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Organizational and multitasking abilities
• BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising or related field
• Attention to detail
• Critical thinking skills

The working hours: 09:00 a.m. - 18:00 p.m.
