Accountant (6 month contract) (VAC-A21348T)

Job description

Our client, one of the leading Construction and Development companies in Cyprus, responsible for many of the island's landmark developments, is looking to hire an Accountant for a period of 6 months to be based at their offices in Nicosia.

Job Duties

• Registration of accounting documents.
• Monitoring and reconciliation of bank accounts
• Monitoring and reconciliation of creditors' accounts
• Preparation of various financial statements.
• Preparation and monitoring of liquidity statements.

Job Requirements

• LCCI Accounting Intermediate or Higher Certificate
• Previous accounting experience
• Fluency in both Greek and English
• Very good knowledge and use of computers and Microsoft Office Excel
• Experience in the Construction Industry will be considered an advantage
• Pleasant personality with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised but comfortable working in a team
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work accurately, efficiently with high attention to detail

Job Benefits

The company is offering a competitive salary based on experience and the working hours will be Monday from 8am - 4:30pm and Tuesday to Friday from 8am - 4pm.
