Senior Accountant

BridgerPay is a payment orchestration software that allows businesses to personalize their payment stack, using specific Payment Service Providers (PSPs) according to different geographies, currencies, transaction values, and many other variables. With integrations with 350+ PSPs and support for 135 currencies, we provide a global and scalable payment infrastructure to businesses of all sizes. Our mission is to eliminate the headaches related to online payments, allowing businesses to focus on what they do, increase their revenue, and shrink their costs.

We are currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join our team in Limassol.

Job Duties

• Managing accounting and bookkeeping
• Review of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of any applicable regulatory reports such as VAT, VIES, OSS etc and ensuring all relevant payment deadlines are met
• Preparation of supplier payments on a weekly/monthly basis
• Preparation of client invoices every first of the month
• Monitoring client payments and collection
• Liaising with external parties: auditors, accountants, lawyers, banks etc.
• Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly accounting reporting
• Assisting with ad hoc tasks the Financial Controller
• Contribute actively to the Finance team and assisting other as needed

Job Requirements

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or a related subject
• At least 2-3 years of experience in an international accounting department
• SaaS industry experience will be considered an advantage
• Good knowledge of IFRS and VAT rules
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good time/task management skills
• Good communication skills
• Willingness for professional development to meet the evolving needs of the role
• Ensuring high-quality service when dealing with clients
