Job description

Our client, an Insurance Company, is currently looking for an HR Executive for their offices based in Limassol 

Job Duties

  • Participate in the design and implementation of the HR strategy
  • Draft strategic workforce plans and budgets, and convert them into specific actions for recruitment, cross-training and upskilling of existing employees, as well as address the future needs of the business in terms of required competencies
  • Define job specifications and recruitment & selection processes and tools, such as online campaigns, interview guides and interviewing panel roles in selection, with the aim of identifying the best available talent in the market
  • Develop, implement and monitor the implementation of HR policies, which will act as an extension of the essential employment terms entailed in the employment contractsIdentify training needs and develop/execute an appropriate Learning and Development Plan, to ensure the fulfilment of those needs; draft plans and specific interventions for managerial and leadership development training
  • Define the specifications and procure an outsourced payroll process; monitor the vendor and report on payroll process effectiveness; liaise with the vendor and prepare all information regarding employee remuneration data, leaves, employer contributions and contingent rewards
  • Maintain oversight of all formal disciplinary, appeal and/or grievance processes, and ensure a fair and systematic approach across employees and across time
  • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall visionImplements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any fieldA Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or Employment Relations or an MBA with a concentration in HRM or a related field
  • Minimum five years of prior experience in the HR field
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken
  • Proven experience with local employment legislation, employment relations system and international HR best practices
  • Knowledge of relocation and migration processes for foreign employees

  • Working hours:
  • Working hours vary but in general it’s around a 40 hour work week.
