Head of Compliance (VAC-A785)

Job description

Our client is a CySEC regulated investment firm who are looking for an experienced  Head of Compliance position for their offices in Limassol.

Job Duties

• Always up to date with regulatory requirements and guideline's and assisting with updating procedures and policies where necessary to ensure continued compliance.
• Oversight of onboarding of clients , ensuring proper monitoring of client transactions and activities, handling client complaints.
• Review, approve, and monitor company marketing communication for compliance with regulations.
• Responsible for submission of compliance reports to CYSEC on time.
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements and other legal documents in cooperation along with the Legal Department and compliance team.
• Reporting directly to, giving advice and guidance to the senior management team.
• Assisting and advising in negotiations and rollout of contracts and projects.
• Reports directly to BOD.

Job Requirements

• At least 5+ years pf experience in Compliance within the Financial Industry or other related field.
• Excellent command of the English language, written and oral.
• Experience developing and implementing compliance programs

Education:

• University and or post graduate degree in Law or related degree is an advantage.
• Advanced CYSEC Holder essential – Prepared to attend an interview at CYSEC also.
