Job description

ONE Property Management is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join its dynamic and growing team at ONE in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible to maintain and operate all the plant, machinery and equipment within the tower to achieve optimum guest and colleague comfort and safety.

Job Duties

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the flawless operation and maintenance of all electromechanical installations at ONE tower.
  • Prepare the monthly maintenance programme and delegate appropriate tasks to the repair and maintenance team.
  • Assume a key role in long-term maintenance planning.
  • Liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors and vendors, to ensure that all given services are according to their agreements and product specification and maintain business relationships.
  • Incorporate and support efficient maintenance reporting structure, communication and calculation of services costing.
  • Incorporate efficient processes in the method of working for a faster response to clients’ enquiries relating to repair and maintenance.
  • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Ensuring the installation, maintenance, repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems are functioning at all times.
  • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring that any un-repaired fault likely to cause an accident is isolated and that such equipment is left in a complete safe condition with the appropriate warning notices attached.
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards with Health and Safety standards.
  • Carrying out the designated procedures if a fire alarm is raised.

Job Requirements

Necessary requirements:

  • At least 10 years working experience preferably in the field of residential/hospitality electromechanical installations and maintenance.
  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language both in written and oral.
  • Computer literate.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Leadership skills and ability to influence others.
  • Commercial understanding of business.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prepare departmental budgets.
