Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our physical and online store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the store's sales, customer service, and inventory management functions.

As the Business Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with other teams, including marketing, finance, and IT, to achieve our company's goals.


Job Duties

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan and strategy for the online store.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the store is meeting or exceeding its sales and profit targets.
  • Manage the online store's inventory, ensuring that stock levels are optimized and that products are consistently available.
  • Oversee the customer service function, ensuring that customers receive prompt and efficient support and that their issues are resolved quickly and to their satisfaction.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns and promotions that drive traffic to the online store and increase sales.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring that they deliver high-quality products and services on time and on budget.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for how the online store can leverage these to improve performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in-store, online store, or e-commerce platform management.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth and profitability in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing a team and working cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
  • Experience with inventory management and logistics.
  • Familiarity with SEO, SEM, website analytics, and social media marketing will be considered an advantage.
