Machine Operator (VAC-A2052)

Job description

Our client is a long-standing Cypriot family company specializing in Marble in Limassol. They are looking for a Machine Operator specializing in AutoCAD.

Job Description:

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a manufacturing or production setting.

You will ensure the machinery operates efficiently, produce high-quality products, and adhere to safety guidelines

Job Duties

• Set up machines before each production run by adjusting settings, calibrating equipment, and loading materials
• Operate and monitor machines during production to ensure smooth operations and detect any malfunctions or defects
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and changing parts, to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine output, downtime, and quality control data
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment
• Advantage if you have used an CNC Machine .
• MUST - Experience using AUTOCAD software
• Ability to operate different types of machinery and equipment
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with safety protocols and guidelines for machine operation
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy materials for extended periods
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Fluency in Greek and English 

Job Benefits

1200-1500 Gross Monthly depending on experience

+ 13th Salary

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm
