CFO Distribution (VAC-A2235)

Job description

For an international group of leading information technology companies, we are seeking to find a Distribution CFO, for their Nicosia office.

Job Overview:

The CFO Distribution role will be responsible for the accounting and finance functions of the Group’s Distribution Division.
The holder of the position will work closely with the Group’s CFO on all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and monitoring the internal control policies and procedures.
The role will be based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Job Duties

• Executing financial strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  
• Monitoring compliance with local financial regulations and statutory reporting requirements and legislations across the Distribution Division, including Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing and other.
  
• Retaining an overview, providing support, and monitoring of subsidiaries annual audits.
  
• Monitoring accounting processes across the Group and suggesting or implementing changes and improvements where necessary.
  
• Monitoring and providing guidance to subsidiaries to prepare and submit timely monthly management accounts.
  
• Ensuring that internal policies and procedures are followed by Accounting and Finance departments across the Distribution Division.
  
• Leading the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  
• Assisting in the preparation of financial and operational risk analysis reports.
  
• Monitoring the working capital of the Distribution Division.
  
• Monitoring the Division’s operational overheads and ensuring the most efficient allocation of resources.
  
• Being part of the approval hierarchy for operational matters, such as supplier and customer order processing, and payments.
  
• Providing leadership support to Finance Managers across the Distribution Division, addressing matters that need to be handled by the Head Office.
  
• Working closely with the Group CFO for general financial and operational matters.
  
• Any other financial and/ or operational duties that can be assigned by the Management.
  

Job Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or other related fields.
  
• Member of ACCA or ACA or CPA or any other professional association.
  
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position is required.
  
• Previous experience with international tax, transfer pricing and VAT is required.
  
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented and professional attitude.
  
• Ability to multi-task, communicate progress and meet deadlines.
