Architect/ Civil engineer

Job description

We are currently seeking an Architect/ Civil Structural engineer for a full time position in our New York City Office.

DESCRIPTION:

Use CAD software to create detailed drawings that include dimensions, procedures and required materials. Use views and angles to show the association between systems and components, often consulting co-workers regarding design and layouts.

REQUIREMENTS

Job Duties

• Experience in all project phases from concept to construction.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, working with staff and clients.
• 3+ years of experience in architecture. Exterior projects experience a plus.
• Demonstrates a strong balance of technical expertise and conceptual design skills.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD or Revit required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor junior designers and collaborate with senior designers.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.

Job Requirements

• Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills in English.
• Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
• Conversant in: AutoCAD, Revit & Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word etc.)
• AutoCad or Revit Experience is a must!
• Understand technical terminology of the architectural and construction industry.
• Coordinate drawings with consultant drawings and specifications.
• This is a rare opportunity for someone who want to travel and work in NYC.

• Selected candidate will travel to NYC and must stay with the company for at least 1.5 years, after that she/he can decide if wants to go back to Cyprus with the opportunity to work remotely.
• Our company is looking to expand is Cyprus within a few years.
• Selected candidate will need to complete an assignment in order to qualifying.
