Junior Paralegal / Corporate Administrator / Compliance Officer

CORPORATE SERVICES DEPARTMENT:

• The department offers an extensive array of corporate services to Eltoma Corporate Services' (ECS) international clientele.

• Comprising a team of legal professionals situated in ECS's overseas offices, the department is equipped to deliver expert advice on corporate and legal matters. This support aids clients in their international business efforts and asset protection endeavors.

TRAINING PROVIDED:

• In-house training will be provided.

Job Duties

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assistance with Legal and Corporate services administration:

• Provision of guidance to clients on the provisions of Cyprus corporate laws.

• Incorporation/registration of legal entities in Cyprus.

• Execution of required changes in legal entities, including the issue and transfer of shares, changes of directors and secretaries, etc.

• Supporting statutory filings, including submissions to the Registrar of Companies, Tax Authorities, and other relevant filings in Cyprus.

• Drafting various legal documents, including powers of attorney, minutes, and resolutions.

• Assistance with organizing general meetings and the preparation of related documentation.

• Preparation of documents for companies' strike offs.

• Drafting and reviewing internal documents, reports, checklists, and other relevant materials.

Assistance with CySEC compliance

The company engages highly experienced professionals to ensure complete compliance with all relevant AML/CTF legislation. The role of the Compliance Officer will be confined to the requirements of current legislation. All relevant in-house and third-party training will be provided.

OPERATIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborating with ECS overseas offices to ensure the successful delivery of international tasks and projects.

• Ensuring the timely completion of services and task execution.

• Participating in various projects and ad hoc assignments as required.

• Operating as a cohesive team member, fostering high standards of cooperation and respect among colleagues.

• Administering Client Relations in CRM.

• Safeguarding the organization's values by maintaining the confidentiality of information and accurately recording job details in Sage Practice Solution in a timely and comprehensive manner.

• Keeping precise and up-to-date timesheet records in Sage Practice Solution.

• Managing the organized filing of client documentation and adhering to legal and internal storage requirements.

• Submitting CySEC reports.


Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates with prior experience in an international legal/tax consulting environment are preferred.

• A Law University degree is required.

• Previous experience in corporate administration (corporate secretarial) is required.

• Experience in a customer service role is beneficial.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential, and knowledge of an additional language is an advantage. English serves as the business language at Eltoma Corporate Services.

• Proactive individual with strong organizational skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Strong communication skills, coupled with high motivation and a positive working attitude.

• Professional and confident demeanor.

• Proficiency in using a personal computer.
