Financial Accountant

Job description

International group of companies with offices in Limassol is seeking to employ a semi-qualified Financial Accountant preferably with knowledge of Russian language 

Job Duties

• Day to day accounting operations of Group companies

• Preparation of Financial Statements

• Other Reporting preparation to company management

• Assisting in year-end audits, coordination and liaising with auditors, lawyers and other parties

• Assisting in preparation of corporation tax and VAT returns when applicable

• Participation in administrative tasks - preparation and review of contracts, invoices, reconciliations, letters and other documents

• Control over the circulation of documents

• Performing other duties upon the request of management

Job Requirements

• Practical experience in accounting and administration of foreign companies around 2-3 years

• Knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards

• Professional accounting qualification will be considered as an advantage

• Good analytical skills

• Excellent fluency, reading & writing in English

• Knowledge of Russian language is a strong privilege

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)

• Currently staying in Cyprus and eligible to work in Cyprus
