Head of Dealing on Own Account (No shifts) (VAC-A20894M)

Job description

Our client is a CySEC regulated Forex Company in Limassol, currently expanding and looking for a Head of DoA. They are investing in good company culture and they work on a hybrid model, i.e. work from home 2-3 days per week depending on company needs.

Job Duties

• Overseeing algorithmic execution
• Real-time monitoring of algorithmic trading activities for signs of disorderly trading
• Monitoring the company's exposures, ensuring they remain within the approved limits
• Maintaining close relationships with Liquidity Providers
• Ensure the Trading Desk is fully staffed and operating effectively
• Liaise closely with the London Trading Desk
• Monitoring price feeds to ensure smooth pricing on all trading platforms;
• Monitoring reception and transmission of orders to ensure proper execution;
• Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports to key stakeholders
• Performing routine monitoring tasks to ascertain system performance
• Keeping up to date with financial markets
• Implementing internal policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• A University graduate of Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or any other relevant field;
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in a Trading related role, including a minimum 2 years of experience in a CySEC regulated CFD Brokerage;
• Excellent knowledge of MT4 platform;
• Advance CySEC certification;
• Understanding of algorithmic trading is a must;
• Knowledge of Crypto-currency trading a plus;
• A strong understanding of best execution policies and procedures according to MiFID II;
• Understanding of hedging mechanics;
• Knowledge of the Transaction Reporting process
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
• Data analysis skills an advantage (using for example Python, Tableau and VBA)
• Strong communication & organizational skills;
• Attention to details and strong analytical skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines;
• Fluent in English (Verbal & Written);
• Knowledge of MT4 Admin will be considered as an advantage;
• Knowledge of Bridging Tools will be considered as an advantage

Job Benefits

• The salary will be based on skills and experience + 13th salary + medical + discretionary bonus

The working hours are 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch break)
