Job description

Our client is a CySEC regulated fund manager, specialising in Emerging Markets in Fixed Income. They manage a CySEC regulated hedge fund and they are looking for a Fund / Investment Relationship Manager. We are looking for people that want to move into the Fund business and learn from people who have City of London experience.

The Investor Relations Manager's role will be to coordinate and manage the Investors Relationship functions under the direction of the Head of Investor Relations and the Director of Strategic Development.

Job Duties

• The development and maintenance of a prospective investor footprint
• Making fund introductions to prospective investors and arranging investor meetings for the CIO to make presentations
• The maintenance of the client onboarding process to ensure the process is compliant with the latest laws and regulations. This includes the design and upkeep of all the client forms
• Onboarding of investors - AML pre-screening, reviewing of client forms and supporting documentation, and submission of final documentation to Compliance for client acceptance
• The ongoing maintenance of existing clients, including being responsible for the "Clients Complaints and Grievance Procedures"
• The maintenance of the promotions and marketing initiatives, within the regulatory framework, and development of a clear regulatory checklist to ensure that all promotional activity takes place in a compliant fashion.

Responsibilities:

• Client on-boarding under the supervision of Head of Investor Relations
• Development of the prospective investor footprint.
• Arranging and attending Investor presentations and meetings
• Management of the Client onboarding process
• Management of Client communications
• Preparation and publication of fund announcements

Job Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of the regulatory requirements (AML and AIFMD requirements) that govern the client on-boarding to the fund
• Financial markets knowledge is a must
• Client facing experience is a plus
• Commitment to excellent client service
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Sound knowledge of customer relationship best practices
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management or a related field
• 2-5 years' experience in a customer service or similar role
• Commitment to obtain CySEC advanced certification (it will be considered as an advantage if a candidate is already in possession of the certificate)
• Fluency in English and Greek (Russian knowledge will be considered as an advantage)
• The working hours will be 10:00-18:00
