This Advisory Services Company Is looking for a Legal Advisor for their office in Limassol to serve as an integral part of the company and will provide legal counsel along with support in multiple areas of the company's operations in more than 25 jurisdictions throughout the world.

We are looking for a senior corporate/commercial lawyer. Lawyer will specifically assist with drafting and reviewing agreements and providing general legal support. We are looking for somebody who has extensive working experience in drafting/reviewing all sorts of agreements, documents, communication, e.g. service agreements with private clients/corporate clients including governments: NDA, letter of intent, consortium agreements, referral agreements, commercial service agreements, bids and tender documentation, etc. The lawyer should have worked cross border and in an international environment. The lawyer will be a contact person for internal departments, i.e. HR, Finance, business development, IT, marketing, government advisory and be able to give advice and guidance to staff and management in areas like contract law, real estate, financial services, employment law, regulatory compliance (Anti-Bribery/Corruption, AML, Anti-Tax Evasion, Data Protection) and corporate law. International experience is an advantage.

Job Duties

• Anticipate and identify legal issues and provide legal advice to management including developing and accessing alternative solutions to accomplish management's goals with less risk, with priority given to situations of greatest risk, significance and time sensitivity
• Conduct legal research and analyze laws and regulations
• Educate and train employees about legal and compliance issues
• Prepare written and verbal opinions of counsel, as needed
• Draft, review and update agreements, policies and procedures and other documents designed to assure compliance with legal requirements within the companies principles
• Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to the company globally - To be able to negotiate and use conflict resolution where necessary

Job Requirements

• (Master's) Degree in law from an accredited university - Admission to the bar/practice law - Junior legal counsel 2-5 years/senior legal counsel 5 + years of post-qualification legal experience gained from either, international law firm or a corporate/commercial department of an international organization - Substantial experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and policies and extensive experience in researching and providing legal counsel regarding laws and regulation - Outstanding English written & verbal communication skills Desirable qualifications and experience: Experience involving corporate compliance, including working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery/Corruption laws and regulations

• The working hours are a bit flexible. Either 8:00 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 18:00 with 1 hour break.

Job Benefits

The company is offering a salary of 2,000 - 4,000 EUR NET, based on skills and experience (including 13th salary)
