Job description

Our client is a company that is newly established in Cyprus, Larnaca. They are looking for a Portuguese Speaking Legal Consultant to join their team.

The company is providing, supporting and consulting services in administrational matters working with clients worldwide as consultants on accounting, audit, due diligence, Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings etc.


Job Duties

COMPANY CARE:

  • Support customers in holding well prepared Quarterly Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings etc
  • Support customers in keeping their digital archive up to date with their company documents incl. minutes
  • Support customers in keeping an annual calendar and preparing for the necessary timely filing for authorities such as Tax Returns, Annual Returns, etc
  • Support customers in keeping their authority obligations as well as their internal company obligations according to their constitution
  • Support customers in establishing new company structures according to local laws and regulations
  • Support customers in correct registration with local authorities such as tax authorities, company register, other authorities
  • Support customers in communication with their Service Providers such as Lawyers, Company Secretaries etc

CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS:

  • Support customers in preparing contracts and agreements
  • Support customers in keeping their digital archive updated with soft copies and scanned documents
  • Support customers in keeping their archive with original documents up to date
  • APPLICATION AND REPORTS FOR DONATION:
  • Support customers in a timely manner preparing applications for donations
  • Support customers in a timely manner preparing the agreed reports to donors for use of donations

DUE DILIGENCE - KYC:

  • Support customers in keeping the necessary Due Diligence documents updated
  • Assist customers in preparing Due Diligence and KYC packages when needed for banks, service providers, donors, authorities
  • ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION:
  • Support customers in implementing the administrational positions according to their agreed organogram for this
  • Support customers making their quarterly report to the Board of Directors on matters such as administration and legal

BANKS:

  • Support customers in opening new bank accounts
  • Support customers in maintaining good relations with their banks
  • Support customers in communication with their banks
  • OTHER:
  • Support, advice and assist customers regarding laws and rules in different countries about pension, tax, immigration, health insurance, inheritance, estate, property etc
  • This includes keeping good relationships with Lawyer, Auditor, bank, landlord, electricity company, water supply company, etc
  • Contribute productively and positively to the company's office working environment

Job Requirements

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a positively contributing part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Methodical approach to work, attention to detail, punctual and multitasker
  • At least 5 years' experience in a corporate and/or (legal) secretary position
  • Fluency and strong command of the English and the Greek language, oral and written
  • Fluency in the Portuguese Language, oral and written
  • Computer literate and -experienced

Job Benefits

  • 24K Gross annually.
  • x3 times a week.
