Junior BackEnd Developer – Node JS (Forex) – Limassol

Job description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a Forex Firm in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Junior BackEnd Developer - Node JS;

Job Duties

• Work as part of a team developing applications and services;
• Assisting the lead developer with development and administrative tasks.
• Assisting with the testing and maintenance of backend applications.
• Provide assistance with coding and writing of automated/unit tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality;
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation;
• Optimize and secure applications;
• Conduct Production Support and Bug Fixes.

Job Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or related field;
• Hands-on knowledge of Node.js and at least 1 framework (Express.js or Nest.js),
• Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases,
• Practical knowledge of GIT,
• Understanding of web security standards and best practices.
• Good command of written and spoken English
