Senior Python Developer (VAC-A21032M)

Job description

On behalf of our client, a provider of total brokerage solutions, we are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join their growing team in Limassol. In this role you will work within an in-house Artificial Intelligence Team to undertake this challenging role and push the limits of Artificial Intelligence through innovative products and solutions that solve business problems in real life.

Job Duties

• Develop and maintain production grade infrastructure for AI solutions
• Assess and (re)design AI services
• Assess and (re)design services that consume batch and real-time data
• Drive architecture decision based on designated criteria
• Design and build data pipelines for the Data Science team
• Integrate AI services with other company products
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and DevOps team
• Demonstrate your passion for emerging technologies and self-development
• Demonstrate your problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Share your knowledge across team(s)

Job Requirements

• Demonstrable working experience with Python
• Special interest in machine learning and data pipelines
• Experience in relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of micro-service architecture
• Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of applying object-oriented and functional programming styles to real-world problems
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Experience working with Docker
• Knowledge/experience of agile software development concepts and processes
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, for example, Git
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams
