Risk Officer (Forex) – Limassol

Job description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a Forex Company in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Risk Officer;

Job Duties

• Prepare regulatory reports and financial returns including COREP, ICAAP, Pillar III, Annual Risk Management Report, Quarterly and Annual statistics for CySEC and CBC
• Review new regulatory requirements and conduct impact analysis
• Assist in the design and implementation of Risk Management policies and procedures.
• Review business units and assess business practices to identify existing and emerging risks to ensure that all risks are accurately reflected in the risk register
• Liaise and collaborate with other business functions for risk inputs
• Collect, analyse, interpret and present risk data
• Investigate Risk Incidents and ensure that root cause analysis has been carried out and follow up the agreed actions
• Assist in risk projects

Job Requirements

• A University graduate of Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business or any other relevant field
• 2 – 3 years of experience in an investment firm or a consulting firm with solid exposure in risk management (credit risk, market risk, operational risk, liquidity risk) and capital adequacy
• Advanced CySEC certification will be considered an advantage
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
• Fluent in English (Verbal & Written)
