Our client is an international Asset Management Company with offices in Greece and Cyprus, established in 2015 and a leading management company licensed and regulated by CySEC, managing UCITS and providing MiFID services for investment portfolios on a discretionary and advisory basis.
They are now looking for a Back Office Fund Administrator to be based at their offices in Nicosia.
The role will provide assistance in the operations of the Company with regards to the launching of a new Alternative Investment Fund with Limited Number of Persons (AIFLNP).
The responsibilities will include:
Provide assistance in back office operations of the Management Company with respect to the clients’ accounts and the Funds under Management, and more specifically:
Post entries to the Portfolio Management System (PMS) concerning trades, corporate actions, cash movements etc.
Calculation of the NAV of the funds under management using the PMS and reconciliation with the administrator.
Produce various reports and client statements using the PMS.
Provide assistance in the preparation of reports with statistical information for the Management Company and the Funds, which are submitted to CySEC and the Central Bank.
Execution of any task related to the duties of the position requested by Senior Management or Supervisors of the Company.
Other office administration duties.
The ideal candidate will be/have:
BSc in Finance/Business Administration/Accounting/Economics/Mathematics/ Statistics or related field.
Fluency in English (Written & Spoken).
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar position.
Understanding of characteristics of different types of Financial Instruments.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office Packages) with excellent proficiency in Excel.
