Job Description

Our client is an International Corporate Services, Tax Consultancy & Trust Firm in Limassol. They are now looking to employ an Internal Accountant.

Responsibilities:
Ensuring that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner;
Maintaining proper accounting records;
Preparing analysis of balance sheet items on a monthly basis;
Verifying and recording invoices;
Recording and checking company bank statements;
Conducting regular bank reconciliations, including client account;
Preparing online bank payments;
Directly communicating with group and reconcile ico balances;
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts;
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures;
Assist on annual audit information to external auditors;
Preparing and submitting VAT forms;
Assisting with ad hoc projects, reporting and analysis assigned by management

The ideal candidate will be/have:
Degree / diploma, or equivalent, in accounting
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting position; recording of data through to preparation of management accounts;
Background in Service Industry will be considered as an advantage;
Software: knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel;
Accounting software: knowledge of Unity and HFM will be considered an advantage;
Excellent knowledge of the English language, both oral and written;
Value-Added Tax (VAT);
Strong organisational and analytical skills;
Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Salary of up to 2,000 Euros gross + 13th salary.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 08.30 to 18.00 and Wednesday or Friday (on rotation) 08.30 – 15.00.
