Job Description

Our client is a licensed regulated investment firm with offices in Limassol. They’re currently seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer for their team.  The successful candidate will have around 1+ year experience in a similar role and will hold the CySEC advance Certification.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responding to any Compliance inquiries;
  • Designing Company’s Policies and procedures related to compliance;
  • Reviewing company’s marketing/promotional material advising on amendments needed;
  • Maintaining the accuracy of compliance records, tests and training material;
  • Giving guidance for corrective measures where necessary and informing the Senior Management;
  • Reviewing and drafting terms and conditions and any other legal documents;
  • Preparing required periodic reports per regulations and keeping up to date with relevant laws/regulations;
  • Developing and enforcing adequate policies and procedures in order to meet the compliance requirements of CySEC and other applicable rules and regulations;
  • Performing regular monitoring to ensure that standards are adhered;
  • Overseeing corrective action of any compliance violations identified in review, audits and/or exams;
  • Working with all the departments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations;
  • Conducting internal compliance audits;
  • Examining, evaluating and responding promptly to client complaints;
  • Communicating directly with competent authorities.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in the Forex Industry;
  • CySEC Advanced Certificate is a must;
  • Degree in Law, Economics, Finance or any other relevant field;
  • Fluency in English is a must;
  • Strong organisational and communication skills;
  • Time management and multitasking abilities.
