Job Description

Our client is an exciting international food tech startup that is set to conquer the international market and provide fast, reliable and personalized delivery to everyone.

With existing operations in a number of European countries and a team of over 150 staff they will be expanding to an additional 20 countries with Europe withing in the next few years and are in the process of opening operations in Cyprus. They are looking to hire a Sales Representative (B2B) that will be responsible for driving sales and increasing their partnership base of clients within the market in Cyprus.

Their initial market in Cyprus will be Nicosia with expansion into Limassol to follow shortly thereafter.

The position will be a remote based work from home position initially until they have established their operations in Cyprus and established their offices here, however it will require visits to clients as and when required.

About the role:

The Sales Representative will have a direct impact on the success of the business across Cyprus. 

Joining the Sales team, you will be driving their partnership base and ensuring the success of their business.

They are looking for highly motivated individuals who will be sharing our values and benefits with

potential partners and who will actively seek out and engage prospects. 

Although the company is a new business, it will remain a fast-paced environment, so they are looking for someone who is highly adaptable and is able to switch between long-term strategic initiatives one moment and pivot into rapid, tactical actions the next.

What you will do:

Build partnerships with the best restaurants interested in the collaborating with the company

Network, call, hold face-to-face meetings with restaurant owners and managers, and close new partners to the platform

Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals

Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation of a strong working relationship with our restaurant partners, including sustainable economics for both parties

Ensure smooth activation of new partners (inc. organizing menu uploads, photo-shoots, etc)

What you will need:

Passion for the food scene in Limassol/Nicosia

Startup (all-hands-on-deck) "I work hard because I love it" approach

A people person -- you love talking to people and getting them excited

Positive thinking

At least 2 years of experience in business development and/or sales

Confident PC user, experience in CRM systems will be an advantage.

Bachelor's degree required

Fluency in both Greek and English 

The working hours for this role will be standard office hours Monday - Friday, however as this is a startup they are looking for someone who is willing to work longer hours to ensure the success of the startup and ongoing growth of the business.

The company is offering a salary of 2000 Euros per month plus excellent commissions based on sales. Other benefits will include daily lunches, day off on your Birthday, laptop and travelling costs when visiting the offices abroad.
