Our client is an exciting international food tech startup that is set to conquer the international market and provide fast, reliable and personalized delivery to everyone.
With existing operations in a number of European countries and a team of over 150 staff they will be expanding to an additional 20 countries with Europe withing in the next few years and are in the process of opening operations in Cyprus. They are looking to hire an Operations Coordinator with a background in logistics/transportation and the general fast paced movement of goods.
Their initial market in Cyprus will be Nicosia with expansion into Limassol to follow shortly thereafter.
The position will be a remote based work from home position initially until they have established their operations in Cyprus and established their offices here, however it will require visits to clients as and when required.
About the role:
The company is looking for an Operations Coordinator who will have a direct impact on the success of the company across Cyprus.
Joining the Operations team, you will own critical projects from conception to execution and jump on challenges as they emerge.
This role calls for a combination of project and stakeholder management, strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical, and strong operational execution.
They are looking for people who are willing to learn and adapt quickly and are ready to execute and move mountains.
Although the company is a new business, it will remain a fast-paced environment, so they are looking for someone who is highly adaptable and is able to switch between long-term strategic initiatives one moment and pivot into rapid, tactical actions the next.
What you will do:
Grow number of couriers on the platform;
Monitoring qualitative and quantitative indicators of logistics;
Management of efficiency indicators of logistics, including financial indicators;
Organization of constant feedback from couriers in order to improve their user experience;
Manage communication with couriers and partners
Systematization and optimization of processes in logistics;
Formation and testing of hypotheses to achieve target indicators of logistics efficiency, conducting experiments;
Work with the company's logisticians, implementation of tools to achieve logistics efficiency targets;
Work with the product team on optimization and improving the logistics part of the product
Work closely with HQ and prioritize issues based on the highest impact with Operations Manager and Customer Support Manager
What you will need:
Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in Greek and English
Attention to details
Ability to work fast, adapt to business needs, multitask and having full flexibility
Independent, well-structured and goal-oriented work style;
The working hours for this role will be standard office hours Monday - Friday, however as this is a startup they are looking for someone who is willing to work longer hours to ensure the success of the startup and ongoing growth of the business.
The company is offering a salary of 2000 Euros per month plus performance related Bonus. Other benefits will include daily lunches, day off on your Birthday, laptop and travelling costs when visiting the offices abroad.
