Our client, an Audit firm in Limassol, part of a group of companies, is looking to hire a Junior Auditor. In this role you will be trained to become a professional Auditor. This is a great opportunity for graduates!
Responsibilities:
Undertake the audit of small and medium sized firms
Report directly to the Manager/Partner in charge
Operate our audit software and carry out audit testing tasks
Process financial statements using Caseware under IFRS
Communicate with clients and liaise for audit issues
Review accounting procedures and systems and identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
University degree(s) in Accounting, Finance with grade 2:1 or equivalent or CAT or LCCI third level Diploma
Commencing or partly completed ACA, ACCA or CPA is plus
Experience in accounting, payroll and taxation is a plus
Microsoft Excel skills
Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken
Knowledge of Caseware International will be considered an advantage
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in accordance to clients' needs and requirements
A contributing team player
Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality and accuracy
An eye for detail
Professional conduct and presentation
Willing to learn
Looking for long-term commitment
The working hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day; 1 hour lunch-break
